Anywhere in Manila you order a sisig or a pancit or anything that requires kalamansi, the cooks / waiters always plop the thing right in the middle of the food. Picking it up greases your fingers or, in case of sisig) burns it. I usually resort to using a napkin to pick it up, else I fish it out with a fork and then wipe it with a napkin before squeezing.
Why can't they just serve the kalamansi separately?

off topic: what did you think of the chip tsao apology to the nation of servants?
I think it's satire that's a little too pointed and hit a little too close to home. It's really a misunderstanding (on many levels) so I guess he's sincere.

"The ’servant’ is a sacred term. A Hong Kong government official is a civil servant. We are all servants to God, right? I’m now aware that I’ve crossed the line and I offer my public apology," Tsao was quoted as saying.
It doesn't sound like a sincere apology to me.
Baka feeling nila garnish ang kalamansi...
^ Pero hindi rin eh. Kahit sa Kaibigan (uy memories) ganun sila eh. Mukha bang naggagarnish yung mga tao dun? :))
Sa bagay. Dagdag mo na rin dyan yung pag piniga mo yung kalamansi, kelangan pang gamitin ang tinidor para hindi humalo sa sisig yung buto. Ganito na lang, sa menu dapat may option na:
1.) Sisig with kalamansi (squeezed)
2.) Sisig with kalamansi and sili
Add 2 pesos for Knorr seasoning.

Have you tried asking them to do that when you order food? Sometimes, all you need to do is ask.
Or sana i-squeeze na nila 'yung juice out of the calamansi. Hehe
@Anonymous: Oftentimes we forget. Hence the rant. The restaurants need to rethink the way they serve sisig.
@Prudence: Goodah has pre-squeezed calamansi IIRC. Too bad they don't have sisig. :))
sisig hooray!!
in hotels they wrap the calamansi in a net so you don't have to fork out the seeds. maybe they also serve it on a separate plate... i can't recall.
of course the net entails extra expense.
